Bob and Jeanne Golden of Rye are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allyson Golden, to Ryan Fassler, son of Tim and Carol Fassler of St. Louis, Missouri.  

The future bride is a graduate of Clayton High School in St. Louis and Vanderbilt University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in History. She received her MBA from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013, and is employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago.

The future groom is a graduate of Lutheran South in St. Louis and Webster University, where he played basketball and tennis for the university and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.  He received his MBA and a Master’s in Finance from Washington University in 2013, and works for Capital One Bank's card partnerships division in Chicago. 

The couple met during graduate school.

A September wedding is planned in St. Louis. 


Brendan Conley and Rebecca Sullivan were married July 8, 2017 at Anyela’s Vineyard in Skaneateles, N.Y. The groom’s cousin, William Finn, was the officiate.

The bride’s parents are Bryan and Joanna Sullivan of Glenview, Illinois. The groom’s parents, Beth and David Conley, reside in Rye, N.Y.

The couple met at Williams College, from which the groom graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Economics and History. He works for a financial services firm in Manhattan. The bride graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Physics. She teaches high school science in Brooklyn.

After a honeymoon in Bali, the couple returned to their home in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.


Genevieve and Tom McLoughlin are pleased to announce the birth of a son, <<Liam Thomas McLoughlin>>, born October 1, 2017 at Greenwich Hospital. Liam weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. He joins his sister Georgia, who is 2.

His maternal grandparents, Joan and Steve Arcoleo, live in Rye. His paternal grandparents, Pam and Tom McLoughlin, reside in Yorktown Heights. 


Catherine (Casey) Ann Sullivan and Jacob Lewis Hagelin were married on September 16, 2017 at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye. Fr. Peter Connolly performed the wedding ceremony. A reception followed at Shenorock Shore Club.

The bride is the daughter of John and Louise Sullivan of Rye. She graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2011 with a degree in Communications and Marketing and currently works in marketing at Salvatore Ferragamo.

The groom is the son of Sandra and Ralph Hagelin of Havre de Grace, Maryland. He also graduated in 2011 from Loyola University Maryland, where he earned a degree in Communications and played for Loyola’a Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse team. He is the Director of Operations for food/tech-startup Goldbely. 

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia before returning to their home in Manhattan’s West Village.


Kelly Elizabeth Whipple, a daughter of Joan and George A. Whipple III of Rye, N.Y., was married on November 4, 2017 to Alexander Scott Brooke, a son of Julia and Dr. James R. Brooke of Colorado Springs, Colo. The Rev. Daniel P. O’Reilly performed the ceremony at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye. A reception followed at the Apawamis Club.

The bride is a recruiting manager in the New York office of The Boston Consulting Group. She graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart, Greenwich, and Hamilton College. 

The groom is a manager in the corporate finance group at The National Football League in New York. He graduated from Washington and Lee University.

The couple met through mutual friends at a party in New York City.


Lauren Kristina Pike and Walter DeForest Peek III were married on October 7, 2017 at Church of the Resurrection in Rye. Father Daniel O’Reilly celebrated the nuptial mass. The bride’s cousin, Lizzie Pike, served as maid of honor, and Steve Evans, a childhood friend of the groom’s, was the best man. A reception followed at the Apawamis Club.

The bride, 28, is the daughter of Ann and Dana Pike of Rye. She graduated from Boston College with a degree in both Education and Communications. She is an account manager at Ralph Lauren Corporation.

The groom, 28, who is known as Woody, is the son of Susie and Walter Peek of Rye. He graduated from Cornell University and is an account service representative at The Hallmark Channel.

While both the bride and groom grew up in and around Rye, they only met four years ago, through mutual friends in New York City.

The couple went on a mini-moon to Tulum, Mexico, before returning home to Manhattan. They plan on taking a longer honeymoon in the spring.
