It's filled with historic images from the Rye Historical Society collection and and recent photos submitted by Rye High School students giving their perspective in life in our small town. It's worth a family visit and a revisit.

Local Artists on Display
Recent paintings by Rye resident Howard Bratches are on display at the Rye Free Reading Room through August 25. The exhibit is entitled “Mostly Rye” and features many watercolor paintings of local scenes and landmarks. Bratches is a traditional watercolorist trained at the Art Students League of New York and SUNY Purchase.
“Kid Pix”, a show of fabric art by Isabel Becker, is on display in the Children’s Room corridor through August. The colorful collages of storybook characters, animals, vehicles and other childhood interests and hobbies were inspired by fabric illustrations the artist saw in a children’s book.
For more information about the exhibits, log on to www.ryelibrary.org.
