Welcome Home, Soldier

Corporal Max DiEdwards with his son, DominicMax DiEdwards, 22, returned last month to Camp Pendleton Marine Base in California, after a seven-month tour in Afghanistan. His son Dominic, who was born in May, was there with his girlfriend Didi Cruz to welcome him back.

He was home in Rye for Christmas, said his ebullient mom, Kathie DiEdwards.

The Rye High School graduate, a Corporal in the Marine Corps, is entering his fourth year of military service and has signed up for another four years.
