“Make it Happen,” the 2006 Rye Middle School Revue was held Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28, in the Rye Performing Arts Center.

Sixty-one talented sixth, seventh and eighth graders sang and danced their way through the show directed by Todd Beaney and Helen Cannistraci, and choreographed by Jennifer Bauer-Conley, with set, light and sound by John Gwardyak.

The full company sang “We're All in This Together” and eighth-graders Ellie Greenhouse and Robbie Keller performed solos of "Defying Gravity" and "Find Your Grail," respectively. The revue included five dances, among them one set to "Conga” by Gloria Estefan, and an original piece by Todd Beaney, “Up To You.”

The students began practicing at the beginning of the school year and their hard work clearly paid off. The show was a huge success.
