Booked for Life

Elementary teachers from area public and independent schools are invited to a conference on literacy and making reading fun, Saturday, October 4, at Convent of The Sacred Heart Lower School. The Annette Saraceni Reading Festival will feature award-wining author Rosemary Wells and reading and language experts Pam Allyn and Dr. Lydia Soifer, among others. Learn new ideas and ways to help young students become comfortable and confident readers.
Annette Saraceni was a language arts specialist in the Lower School for 25 years, until her death from cancer last year. She was much loved by students, who were inspired by her passion for reading and literature,
