Now Let Us Praise Volunteers

The Rye Association for the Handicapped held its 32nd Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon June 3 at the Manursing Island Club. Among the special moments, top, was the presentation of the Lucy S. Pedersen Service Award to Charlotte Vaughan from Pedersen’s daughters Lyn Pedersen and Muffy Pedersen Hazard. Lucy Pedersen was president of the Association from 1986 to her retirement in 2006. She passed away in 2007.
