Coldwell Banker Welcomes New Agents

The Rye office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently welcomed Marcia Appel and Michelle McCarthy to its team of local sales associates. They will provide residential real estate services in Rye and the surrounding communities.

With more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience, Appel began her career as Rookie of the Year and later earned recognition as Salesperson of the Year. Her success is due in no small part to her exemplary client service and her thorough research for both clients searching for the perfect home and sellers looking to price appropriately.

Prior to her career in real estate, Appel served as the Sales and Marketing Vice President for several cosmetic companies, including Revlon, Avon, and Orlane, Paris. She graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

An active member of the Rye/Harrison community, Appel is involved in the Jewish Child Care Association, and Back to School Clothes for Kids.

Rye resident Michelle McCarthy previously practiced securities law. This experience provided her with many of the skills necessary to achieve success in real estate, including analyzing and interpreting data, negotiating, and providing remarkable client service.

“Michelle is very focused on ensuring that her clients’ needs are met and that they receive the best service available,” said Nancy Neuman.

McCarthy graduated from Quinnipiac College with a Bachelor of Science and later earned a J.D. from New York Law School.

McCarthy said her goal “is to assist clients in making the best real estate decisions possible and to establish relationships that last long after the sale or purchase of a home.”
