At the Rye City Lions Club 10th Annual Rye Scholar Athlete Dinner June 4, the Rye High School Athletes of the Month were recognized and celebrated. “Each of these kids could have been nominated for any of the sports they play,” said Lion's Club Secretary/Treasurer Dave Heller. “And we only have nine Garnet athletes here, but we could easily have selected 90 because there are so many special ones at Rye High.”
