The Rye Historical Society’s annual fund-raiser benefit will be held Saturday, May 10, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the lawn of a beautiful private home in Rye. This year’s spring gala celebrates the recently published book “Views of Rye 1917 & 2007,” available at the Square House Museum and Arcade Booksellers in Rye.
Co-chairs Joan Steere and Laura Brett have planned a memorable evening of live music and silent and live auctions featuring unique and distinctive circa 1917 items. Guests will also have an opportunity to support the society’s programs by making donations for items included in this year’s Giving Tree. Ticket prices start at $150.
