Butler – MacPhail
Kevin and Barbara Butler of Rye, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Mary Butler, to Bryan Peck MacPhail, son of Allen and Lisa MacPhail of Scarsdale.
The future bride is a graduate of Rye High School and Dickinson College. She received a master's degree in psychology from Columbia University. This fall, she will continue her studies toward a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The future groom is a graduate of Scarsdale High School and Dickinson College. He worked at CNN in Manhattan and is currently studying at the French Culinary Institute. A March 2008 wedding is planned.
Rockney – Van Wagenen
Ben and Laurie Rockney, of Westford, Mass., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Rockney, to Christopher Van Wagenen, the son of Bert and Tina Van Wagenen of Rye.
The future bride is a graduate of Colby College, where she received a bachelor's degree in biology. Currently, she is working on a clinical study for Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and plans to attend medical school this fall.
The future groom, a 2001 Rye High School graduate, received a bachelor's degree in math from Colby College. He is a consultant at IBM in Washington, D.C.
A June 2007 wedding in Ipswich, Mass., is planned.
