One Hundredth Day, One Hundred
$100 Paintings at Studio Sale

Award-winning artist Miriam Schulman will celebrate her studio’s hundred-day anniversary by hosting an Open Studio of her work April 17, from 7-10 p.m., at her studio in Scarsdale. A selection of her work, from finished oils to charcoal studies, will be on sale for $100 or less. This is a great way to collect fine original art at a great value.

Known for her compelling watercolor portraits, Schulman explores the genre of still life in new and unexpected ways brings personality to her subjects, whether they are people or animals.

Schulman’s works have been selected for prestigious juried shows and are regularly exhibited at galleries throughout the New York tri-state area. Several of her paintings have also been showcased in private collections internationally. She has been published in The New York Times and her work has been featured on the cover of American Veterinary Journal.

The artist studied art and art history at Dartmouth College. She is a member of the Mamaroneck Artist Guild, Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, Greenwich Art Society and the Scarsdale Art Association. Schulman’s works have also been displayed in exhibitions at the Rye Nature Center, the Larchmont Library, Nathaniel Witherell in Greenwich, Madeleine Gutman Gallery at Town Hall, and the Greenburgh Library.
