Another Big Award for Caroline Gray

One week after being selected to the Fairchester Athletics Association First Team for basketball, School of the Holy Child senior Caroline Gray was named a Basketball Coaches Association of New York Scholar Athlete. The award is given to high school seniors who exhibit exceptional academic performance.

“Caroline is a great player and a very serious student; I am thrilled for her to receive this award,” said John Pizzi Jr., Director of Athletics and Physical Education. Last fall, Caroline was also selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic All American Team.

Gray is the second Holy Child student to receive this award. Last year, Allison Duignan ‘08, who is currently a freshman at Georgetown University, was Holy Child’s scholar-athlete recipient for basketball.
